Vilnius, Lithuania
A section mockup for a sketch proposal: a pavilion for Vilnius, Lithuania, dated 2020 by its maker. The model is a physical slice through the design rather than a whole building, and Francisco Tirado made every part of it himself, the design, the sculpting and the photographs, adding to the post that none of it was generated by AI.
Vilnius is the pavilion's proposed city, not where its maker lives. Tirado worked there across two stints between 2013 and 2018, then moved to Copenhagen, so the proposal came two years after he left. There is no published sign of the scheme going further than the sketch.
Francisco Tirado
Francisco Tirado is an architect and photographer working between Copenhagen and Seville. He trained in Seville, worked in Vilnius and London, then spent seven years at Cobe in Copenhagen as an architect and photography lead before opening his own practice in 2025. Architizer named him Architectural Photographer of the Year at its 2023 Vision Awards, and his rendering Sun Hit took the non-student grand prize in its One Rendering Challenge.
