Poltrona Celine

The Poltrona Celine is a 2017 lounge chair by the Brazilian designer Jader Almeida, made by Sollos: a solid wood back shell and closed loop arms over an oval seat upholstered in fabric or leather. Its concept, in his words, is open arms, organic forms fitting naturally with the human body, elegance born of perfect proportions. It won an iF Design Award in 2018.

Jader Almeida is a Brazilian designer, born in Santa Catarina, who started in design at sixteen and has run his line for more than two decades. The JADERALMEIDA brand is manufactured by Sollos, a furniture maker at Princesa in Santa Catarina that has built its business around design since 2004, with showrooms across Brazil and in the United States.
