An ink drawing of a black cat with its tail raised, its edges bleeding into the pale ground.

The credit comes from Notre Arte, the art account that posted it, and names Endre Penovác, the Serbian painter who makes his animals by spreading watercolour and ink across wet paper and letting the pigment run into fur.

Endre Penovác

Endre Penovác is a painter in Bačka Topola, in Serbia's Vojvodina, holding a Master of Fine Arts, his animals held in private collections internationally. The black cat that recurs through his work is named Boszi, witch in English, his main muse.
