Three studio views of a timber island table, with bar stools along one side and open shelves on the other.

ONO TABLE-7

The ONO TABLE-7 is a made to order kitchen island table by a solid wood workshop in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, built to work from both sides. ODD&ORDINARY, the maker, puts open shelves on the back, their heights adjustable, for bowls, plates, cooking tools and ingredients; the front takes bar chairs so the island doubles as a table. The rows of small holes down the end frame are where the shelves move.

It is made to order, three to four weeks from payment, and the workshop delivers it itself. Posted in June 2023.

ODD&ORDINARY

ODD&ORDINARY is a South Korean solid wood furniture workshop in Gyeonggi Province, run by a designer and woodworker who trained in architecture, worked at HAEAHN Architecture, then took a masters in design and branding strategy at Brunel University London. He began making as O&O Made in 2014 and took the ODD&ORDINARY name in 2015; the workshop also makes solid wood doors, and its pieces carry the house prefix ONO.
