Fred Loo Melbourne, Australia

A view down onto a narrow town garden with a brick paved terrace, dark green slatted metal chairs and a bench, a multi stemmed shrub covered in red berries, pale slabs with narrow planted green joints, grasses and tall banana like plants, a timber fence at one side and a climber covered wall behind.

London

An autumn corner of a London garden designed by Ula Maria Studio and built by Urban Meadows. The photograph is by Ryan Thomas, who gardens with them as @dandelyan_.

The paving is a signature: her Barnes wildlife garden shows the same aggregate faced slabs with green planted joints against the same buff pink clay pavers, and the same dark olive slatted seating, photographed in summer. The match is close but not certain, so the garden stays simply at London.
