協調ーカタバミー is an oil painting by the Japanese artist Miho Hirano. The title is hers, in Japanese only: 協調 reads kyocho, meaning cooperation or harmony, and カタバミ names the plant in her hair, the oxalis, whose heart shaped trefoil leaflets are the shape people usually draw as clover.
It is oil on canvas in the Japanese F8 size. Colossal ran the image in October 2019 ahead of her Los Angeles show Recollection at Corey Helford Gallery.
Miho Hirano is a Japanese painter based in Chiba, a graduate of Musashino Art University, whose figures dissolve into flowers, water and birds. She is represented in Japan by Gallery Sumire, shown in Los Angeles at Corey Helford Gallery, and carried in Melbourne by Beinart Gallery.
