Illusion
Illusion is a concept coffee table by the Stuttgart designer Deniz Aktay, drawn as a 3D render: a round glass top resting on one continuous black rod folded into a standing chevron. Aktay works this way by choice, calling his visualisations a cost-efficient way to get his designs reviewed. The title comes from the furniture account that shared the render.

Deniz Aktay is a German designer in Stuttgart who studied architecture and urban planning at the University of Stuttgart, graduating in 2012, and set up his studio DEZIN in 2020. He designs furniture and objects and publishes them as 3D renders; he posted for years as @dezin_design, a handle he keeps on X, and now runs @dezinobjects.
