Great Martins Kitchen

The kitchen garden of Great Martins, a roughly twenty acre private estate scheme in Berkshire by Rosebank. Through the oak gates, timber raised beds spill with produce in a repeated arrangement laid for rhythm, a pergola walk carries fruit and roses, and secluded seating sits in the scent of a herb and perennial mix.
Thyme edges the stone paths, clipped bay standards and box pyramids punctuate the beds, and lavender Munstead runs through the drifts. The wider estate scheme runs from a topiary garden to lake, woodland, meadows and this kitchen garden, with an Edwardian style and scale at its core.
Rosebank
Rosebank is a landscape design and build practice founded in 2016 by Matt Keightley, its designer, and Cameron Wilson, who runs construction, with studios in Richmond, London and at Calmsden in the Cotswolds.
