Elemental
Elemental is a sixty centimetre square acrylic on canvas by Liam Roberts, since gone from his shop. He works in geometric form rooted, in his own words, in a love of simplicity, structure and the balance between order and play.
The same circle, square and segment formula returns in a sibling painting called Element, a different work in white, yellow and blues.
Liam Roberts
Liam Roberts is an artist and designer in Cheltenham, England, working across painting, wood relief and print in hard edged geometric form. He studied graphic design at the University of the West of England, graduating in 2011, and works alongside the studio practice as a design director in branding and publishing.
