Corymbia
Nothing here is built: the room is a computer visualisation of Corymbia House, a house type Otetto sells off the plan, drawn in 2023. The L-shaped plan is made to be flipped and rotated for light, views and winter sun on whatever site it lands, aimed at acreages and rural blocks, its lightweight frame set inside a perimeter of the company's own hempcrete walling.
The design leans on Charles and Ray Eames, whose philosophy Otetto quotes as "The best, for the most, for the least", and pairs the hemp walls with integrated timber joinery, expansive glazing and a wraparound verandah. The picture itself is Choi Render's, a studio that describes its work as unbuilt photography.
Otetto
Otetto is an Australian company building homes around its own hempcrete panel walling system, founded by Amanda Marsh, Harrison Marsh and Chris Ball. Elliot Marsh, a registered architect, is its design lead.
