Consonance is a 3D render by Josh Pierce, built in Cinema 4D and Octane with Photoshop in 2021; he hangs it as the front page of his own site and sells it as an open print.
Pierce describes the work as juxtaposing natural environments with abstract energy forms, suggesting the presence of the beyond in the here and now, and means it to draw the eye to the stillness of the present moment.
Josh Pierce is a visual artist and art director in Los Angeles with fifteen years in motion graphics, whose client work spans NFL Network, the 76ers and the Super Bowl, and whose renders have appeared in the meditation apps Calm and Moments of Space. He began 3D work at RIT in 2002 and turned to personal spiritual pieces in 2017.
