Among the Clouds

Among the Clouds is a painting by Danny Jarjour, drawn first and transferred precisely, taped for crisp edges and built in layers of paint, a process he has described as more like engineering a work of art than painting one.

Posted framed in September 2022; the wall behind it changes from picture to picture, and Jarjour keeps a whole highlight of wall mock ups, so the rooms are stagings, not an address.

Danny Jarjour is a Montreal painter and digital artist working in hard edge geometric abstraction, with Carmen Herrera and Victor Vasarely among his influences. He turned seriously to geometric work in 2016 and is represented by Vallée Art Contemporain in Vieux Montreal.
