487 Henry Street

Cobble Hill, New York

A brick row house from the 1840s in the Cobble Hill Historic District. The picture shows the garden side, where a double-height kitchen extension opens through a sliding wall of glass to the yard and its old American elm; the rear addition ran under the district's landmark approvals in 2024.

Inside, a softly curved sculptural stair threads the house together under a mahogany handrail. The restoration finished in March 2026 and the house went to market the next month.
